Receipe : It can be eaten by immersing in plain/warm water/hot water/hot milk, add salt or sugar or honey as per taste. Fried nuts and fruits could also be added. Take sufficient quantity of aval, add a glass of boiled milk, allow it cool for two minutes, depending upon one’s taste add sugar or jaggery or honey, if need be add salt, few spoons of grated coconut will add good flavour. Cook the Aval in a cooker with sufficient quantity or milk or water. Add few pieces of fresh vegetables for a nutritious meals for children and Adults. Upma/Kitchadi/Payasam can also be made.
